No call came.
I normally don't review anything, or speak my mind, but I want to let people know of my experience so they don't have to go through what I did.
So this morning, i called again, and this lady was a bit more rude to me. The way she spoke made it seem like i wasn't important, and that i was wasting her time.
Seton Pediatrics WAS an amazing place to take your children. However with the rapid turn-over in Physicians (we are on #4 in 10 years with the practice) I would not recommend this practice. It seems that the execellent Physicians are run off. Not to mention the months out for a simple visit and now the new 5 minute rule that cancels your appointment it took 6 months or longer to get.(note the heavy construction causing delays even though you give yourself extra time to get there). Staff is exhausted from all the backlash and now quite abrupt (can't blame them). Very disappointing for our little community. Will be looking somewhere else to take our little one.
If you are ok with waiting 4 hours to see a doctor then come on down to Lockhart family health center. Go to Kyle or Austin or San Marcos or anywhere else nearby. You'll still be seen faster; drive time included! Obviously this place is run very poorly. Get your staffing right or whatever it is.
At this point, I'd honestly rather stay home and die.
Places like this are why I always put off going to the hospital until I feel miserable.
I'd give 0 stars if possible. I was in really bad shape, and waited for 2-3 hours to be brought back. I was miserable, and nearly blacking out. Thought about going to the emergency room (and I HATE the ER), but they said they could help. My mother in law checked me in, and The only time they approached me in the waiting room was to get my 30 buck copay (waste of money). The doctor told me that the majority of my issues are neurological, which I knew. I've already had an upcoming appointment with my neurologist due to recent episodes of bad seizures. Another problem that drove me to go was that my old surgery site from a broken ankle had started to hurt badly for no reason. The doctor told me the plates and screws might have shifted from where they're supposed to be. They finally did xrays by the time it was dark (I arrived around 1pm, btw ), and promised me a doctor would call with the results asap the next day. By about 3pm the following day, I finally decided to call. A lady told me that she'd put me on a list to be called back. And then at 5ish, I called again. The lady was slightly rude, saying that they were busy and would call me when they got to me. Then she said the doctor would call me after hours.
When she FINALLY checked the "doctors notes", she said there was "evidence of old plates and screws, and no fracture." That still doesn't answer my question as to if the plates had shifted. She basically just told me to have a nice day, and hung up.
I'm still in pain, still miserable, and down 30 bucks that I couldn't afford.
They did absolutely nothing to help me, and due to my severe anxiety, I am now worse.
First time here, front desk lady was nice but provider and nurses have horrible service. Never coming back again to this office.
Very kind staff. Very helpful and nice. Went in feeling horrible and didn't have to wait long at all. Got my diagnosis and my prescriptions done in less than an hour and a half. Very fast for a walkin clinic with a huge clientele. Thanks nice people.
