Lockhart is a small, small town and certainly should NOT charge New York City prices, especially when most of their employees are recent Cosmetology/Barber graduates who are using the opportunity to hone their skills, before moving on to richer pastures.
I had a very bad experience here. the red headed white lady who works/ed there is not kid friendly. it was very easy to tell she was not a kid person right off the bat and did not want to cut my child's hair so we went elsewhere. i had good experiences here from other stylists previously.
If I could give a minus 5 star, I certainly would. As a retired hairdresser, I was appalled at the $50.00 price I was quoted for a simple shampoo, blow dry and to flat iron my very short hair. I can understand this quote if I was requesting a up style on very long hair and perhaps a makeup application as well. I would have done my own hair, but we were traveling and I just didn't have the time or opportunity to do so.
Worst place to get a haircut never going back..they messed up my hair i HAD long hair went in to get "layers" and that didnt go well i literally saw this lady cut chunks of my hair and the end resalt was discusting..i left super unsatisfied with really short hair hate it
